NEAWP May Meeting Preview

Are you wondering how technology has changed etiquette?  Chances are not much!  This month for our May NEAWP meeting, we have etiquette speaker and presenter Jennifer Widhelm coming in to speak on all things etiquette.  And what better a backdrop then at Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Austin Texas.  Enjoy fine dining, then hear if you did it right.  Jennifer’s interact presentation will have you guessing the answers to questions we all wonder before hearing the truth.

About Jennifer:

Jennifer moved to San Antonio in the late 70′s when her father was transferred by the military.  After finishing high school she did two years of college before she dropped out to pursue a career as a professional actress.  After 10 years of working as an actress and living in New York City and Los Angeles, Jennifer returned to Texas.  She married and had two daughters.  In the 90′s Jennifer became a single Mother and returned to college.  She re-married in 2000 and also graduated college the same year with a BFA in theatre arts and Speech Communication. Jennifer taught public and private school for 10 years.  This past summer Jennifer went to St Louis to get her certification in Business, Social, and children’s etiquette.  Currently along with being an etiquette consultant, Jennifer is the office manager for her husbands air conditioning business in San Antonio.  Her daughters are both college students here in Austin.  Jennifer enjoys singing, cooking, traveling and visiting her daughters here in Austin.

Special Note:

NEAWP wants to welcome our two new corporate sponsors to the association!!!  The Flower Studio & ILD Lighting.  We are ever grateful for their support and sponsorship to the association and can’t wait to see some great things from each of them.  The Flower Studio is no stranger to the association and has been doing amazing florals in Austin for years.  Most recently at our April meeting, they showcased trends in the vintage theme that is going around the wedding industry, and here are some great photos from Liz Jayne Photography.  ILD Lighting also has previously helped out supplying our meetings with sound and lighting in the past and we look forward to seeing some great collaboration among all our corporate sponsors (including Premiere Party Central)!  Many many thanks again.  If you are intersted in sponsoring the association, don’t hesitate to reach out any board member for more information!

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday!  Save the Date:  Wednesday June 5th @ Ballet Austin (more information to come!)
